Asian Date Night
Saturday BeerDiabla and I ate Chinese food [yes-chopsticks]; drank Japanese beer while watching a Kung-fu movie. These themed date nights are working out quite well.
Du bi Quan Wang da po Xue di Zi Master of the Flying Guillotine showcases most traits required of a so-bad-it’s-good Kung-fu flick:
1. Bad dubbing that inexplicably switches to subtitles from time to time 2. Horrible, garish costumes 3. Vile destructive weapon – you can’t beat a beheading 4. Storyline/Characters you don’t care about 5. Bootlegged electro soundtrack circa 1975
